Together Journal Feature :: Sarah & Will - Weddings in The Wilde

Marriage is not a two-dimensional romantic whirlwind. It’s a frank acknowledgment that generally things are awesome, sometimes they can be really tough, and whatever happens, you will have each others’ back. Neither of you are perfect- there’s no point in pretending otherwise.

This editorial shoot in Sydney was a favourite of mine as we walked the streets of Paddington chasing light and finding cats along the way.

Together Journal Feature :: She is Light

“She is folded in the suns and moons, she is both light and shade. She is equally peaceful and passionate, feminine and romantic. She has no problem finding the light. You can imitate her light, but you cannot become it.”

Together Journal :: High School Sweetheart’s Danni & Neil

The rain couldn’t dampen Danni & Neil’s parade! High School sweethearts, best friends and lovers!!
This wedding at Three Blue Duck’s had it all from epic styling, good food and Blink 182 tunes to start the dance floor!
”We didn’t really start planning the wedding with a theme in mind other than it needed to match our personalities and our story and have great food, wine and music. A reception venue with the white walls/table cloth look wasn’t we had in mind and we knew we wanted something a little more industrial. “

Holly & Brad’s Stylish DIY Wedding on the South Coast :: Nouba Feature

After a decade spent exploring the world and building a life together, Holly and Brad celebrated their 10th year as a couple by tying the knot surrounded by their loved ones. Sydney based lensman, Jason Corroto, captured the couple’s gorgeous wedding amongst the tranquil woodlands of Bawley Point on the NSW coast

There was no question that Bawley Point would be the perfect place for their relaxed and intimate wedding. Not only does the South Coast spot happen to be where Brad popped the question, but Holly’s parents had just finished building their home there. The bride shared “It was awesome for everyone to experience where we love to holiday, and see why we love it so much.”.

Polka Dot Bride :: CRYSTAL & DON’S TROPICAL BLACK TIE BALI WEDDING

Everyone is a big fan of a holiday and everyone’s a fan of dressing up in their finest gear, so when Crystal and Don combined the two in beautiful Bali, it was a celebration that was pure and utter destination wedding magic. The bride, in the dreamiest of gowns (can we talk about the sleeves?) the groom in what has to be one of my favourite suits (pink linen!) beautiful, endless blooms and a reception under the stars. Combine it all with beautiful imagery by photographer Jason Corroto and we’re well and truly ready to kick off our shoes, grab a cocktail and join in the fun!

The pair met in their twenties through mutual friends at a club – it was adoration at first sight for the bride to be, who tells us their romantic proposal story. “Don proposed while we were on holiday in Bali in 2017. It was completely unexpected and was such a nice little surprise, he did it while we were biking around the town of Ubud. It is also partly the reason we decided to have our wedding there.”

Polka Dot Bride Feature :: BEC & TIM’S CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC WEDDING

Bec and Tim stole my heart today, as they planned a day that was filled with utterly beautiful style. With a chic black and white colour palette, a refined choice of decor and all your favourite modern, on point touches (hello neon sign!), they hired Jason Corroto to capture a day that was a contemporary take on classic, but more importantly, was very much their own personal style.

“The look I was trying to achieve was modern/contemporary while maintaining classic and timeless style,”  tells Bec, the couple choosing beautiful textured blooms that tied their classic church venue and industrial reception setting together in the most beautiful of ways. Cannot wait to share how their day unfolded!

Of their photographer, the bride raves “Jason was absolutely amazing. Jason’s approach to photography was exactly what we needed – natural, unobtrusive and super chilled. Tim is very camera shy, but Jason made us feel so comfortable and every photo seemed very effortless, we would sometimes forget he was even there capturing pictures! Which was great, as we look back on our photos and they are real moments and pure happiness. We are beyond happy with the way our photos have turned out.”
