Matt & Bridie's Yarramalong Valley Wedding with a Touch of Hollywood Glamour

Bridie and Matt’s Yarramalong Valley wedding was a gorgeous blend of low-key outdoor vibes and old Hollywood glam! Between Bridie’s beaded Karen Willis Holmes gown, Matt’s classic black tux and bowtie, and the classic black and white colour palette, we love how this couple’s wedding style felt glamorous, yet totally at home, in their relaxed outdoor venues. From the couple’s ceremony outside the quaint St. Barnabas Church to their totally classic getaway car (complete with tin cans trailing it!

Beauty in the Raw – Elemental Inspiration

Beauty in the Raw – Elemental Inspiration “Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity.” It was this quote by Plato that inspired the Sydney-based creatives behind this shoot.

Monique Kate Creative tells us the idea was to keep things simple and let the effortlessness of the raw elements speak for themselves to deliver something natural and real. Jason Corroto’s dramatic and candid style of photography was the perfect match for Monique’s creativity.

Hard elements such as stone and concrete are tempered by lush greenery and soft fabrics, including a dreamy handmade crochet gown by MKC Couture. With the addition of vibrant blooms and an earthy setting featuring a Kombi from Kombi Weddings, the images evoke a youthful passion and freedom of spirit.

Ryan & Kate - Nouba Feature

Ryan & Kate's DIY beach wedding was a no-brainer for the central coast couple, who chose to hold their ceremony on the shore at Killcare Beach, a favourite spot of theirs.
“We wanted to make the ceremony very casual,” shares Kate, “so we said our own vows and included our dog, Tyson in the ceremony.” They crafted a driftwood arbour and Kate’s mum showed off her floristry prowess, adorning it in an incredible tropical foliage arrangement. Superstar mum also styled the reception space at Horizons Killcare, pulling together a gorgeous backdrop of lush greenery, fairy lights and draped fabric.

Horizons was perfectly located by the beach so guests didn’t need to travel far post-ceremony. If Kate and Ryan could give one piece of advice to others tying the knot, it’d be to steal away together to really savour the day. “Make sure you get a moment to spend just with your love, so you can look around and remember the moment and all the people who love you.”
